INDONESIA

Sumba, Sumba Nautiuls Resort
Spear Fishing in Indonesia is incredible!  This is due to the massive amounts of water movement and nutrients in this vast confluence of the Indian and Pacific Ocean systems.  The location knowledge and expert planning that have gone into these trips make them very unique and safe.  Your hosts love catching fish as much as you do, and therefore offer all our secret spots and knowledge, and try our best to ensure that you catch what you came for.  But remember, with incredible opportunities comes challenges that present themselves on each dive, this is where their specialization really comes into effect.  They keep you safe and in the fish.  Currents and conditions change fast here. Without guided help of experienced watermen in these conditions you are limiting your chances of finding fish, and also putting your self at risk Catch Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, Jacks, GT, and a multitude of other fish species accessing the drop off and flats near shore along the arid north coast. Then spend a day visiting traditional Sumbanese houses with huge grave stones in front. Witness locals weaving their traditional Ikat and make a purchase if you want. The uniquely desert like climate is nothing like the rest of Indonesia. Enjoy beautiful blue skies and cooling afternoon winds in this magnificent area of Sumba.
