Raiatea

The second largest island in French Polynesia, Raiatea is the most lush and rugged of them all with its many waterfalls and fertile valleys. Less visited by tourists, Raiatea offers visitors the chance to cruise up Faaroa Bay, wander around the Botanical Gardens or dive the pristine waters filled with brilliant reef fish, sharks and a few friendly maori wrasse.
